GGPO Outreach

Many are those in need and often times whether in Developed or underdeveloped societies, the narrative for orphans is the same. They are often relegated in the society and looked down as lesser members of the society.

This has tipped the balance for a good life to disfavour these people. However, the narrative in developing countries is worst. With fewer opportunities being made available even to common citizens, the stakes are extremely odd for ORPHANS.

As part of alleviating poverty and hunger, Spirit Gym Foundation (SGIF) reached out to the orphans in providing them with food stuff and some basic needs.

Image at Grace of God Philanthropic Orphanage. First ever outreach

We visited Grace of God Philanthropic Orphanage. A small striving orphanage in the South West regional capital of Buea. A woman with a huge heart, gathered to herself several children from different backgrounds, full of painful stories.

One of such was little lovely and jovial baby Hope.

Friendly and open, she stole our hearts.

Born and discarded by her mum, baby Hope was dropped anonymously at the door of the orphanage. Since then, no information had been gotten regarding her background.

Our very first orphanage outreach was such an amazing moment as we enjoyed the songs they sang.

We couldn't help but start planning another visit while we were yet inside there. We then offered what we had brought.

Small as it was, were proud knowing we did put a smile on their face. We also knew, next time was never going to be at the same scale.
